- In the exposition Emika is upset because another bounty hunter stole the bounty of the person she captured. She needed the money from the bounty to pay her rent. When she returned to her apartment that she shared with her bestfriend, Hammie, she saw an eviction notice on the door.
- Climax
- Emika tears the eviction notice off the door and walks inside the apartment. She sees Hammie has not done anything all day and did not leave the apartment so she did not see the notice. Emika then, using her glasses, Emika watches the Warcross tournament.
- Climax
- Hideo Tanaka calls Emika. Emika thinks she is in trouble for ruining the tournament but instead Hideo wants to hire her as a hacker for 1 million dollars. Hideo saw her hacking skills and now wants her to catch hacker zero by finding their name and their goal.
- Falling Action
- Zero steals Emika's memories and reveals the relationship between her and Hideo right before the Phoenix Riders' blow up his house. Zero asks Emika to work for him instead of Hideo and offers 10 million dollars.
- In the tournament stadium Zero turned off the power then fired his gun when the power turned back on to make it seem like it was sparks. He was trying to assassinate Hideo but Emika told Hideo before hand and there were bodyguards there that were shot instead.
- While Emika and Hideo are at his parent's house because he wants them to meet Emika, he talks about his past including his brother Sasuke.
