- A married couple lives in paris and its the 1800. The main character is a very ungrateful and spoiled women who only enjoys money. She uses he husband and believes she should have been born rich.
- Climax
- She got invited to a ball. He husband wanted himself and Matilda to go to the ball. Matilda was sad because she had nothing to wear. She asked her than asked her husband for 2,000 dollars for a nice dress. she had to borrow some jewelry from her rich friend because she wanted to look nice.
- Falling Action
- MAtilda then asks her rich friend is she may borrow some of her fancy jewelry. Her friend agrees and lets her take the jewelry. Then lets her go to get ready for the ball.
- Resolution
- Matilde and Her husband joined the party. Matilda gets unhappy because she believes she doesn't look good. Next thing she realises is she has lost the necklace that her friend has gave her.
- The couple goes through multiple stores in trying to find the right necklace. After looking for a while they finally find the right one the only problem was it cost 1 million dollars. They agree to it and get a loan so they spend years trying to make up the money back.
- Years later after Matilde pays her loan she sees her friend in the park. The friend doesn't recognise her. Her friend informs her that the necklace only costs 500 hundred dollars not 1 million.
