Not wanting to get involved in the beauty contest, Zeus tells Paris to be the judge. Paris chooses Aphrodite after being promised the most beautiful woman in the world.
Aphrodite makes Helen of Sparta fall in love with Paris while Helen's husband Menelaus is away. Helen and Paris leave for Troy.
Menelaus's brother Agamemnon gets all the Greek kings together to bring Helen back. The fates predict Troy and Hector will die in the upcoming war. Athena, Hera, and Posiden side with the Greeks, and Aphrodite, Artemis, and Ares are with the Trojans. Zeus is neutral.
Antilochus tells Achilllies that his best friend Patroclus was killed, and Achilles is very angry. His mother Thetis requests Hephaestus to make Achilles new armor.
Achilles kills Hector and refuses to return his body to his family. Meanwhile, Paris shoots Achilles with an arrow in the heel, his only weakness, which kills him.
