- The protagonist is stuck in traffic. He is fatigued after a long day at work and his hunger consumes him. He decides to pull of the main road to find a diner to eat at.

- The protagonist cuts down a sketchy road, surrounded by a thick forest. His GPS tells him the diner is only a short distance away, so despite his hesitance he treks onward. At the end of the street he finds the diners glowing lights.

- The protagonist pulls into parking lot and takes note that it is surprisingly empty. He is puzzled as to why the diner lights be on if it wasn't open. Despite this, he is still determined to find food, and enters the diner anyways.
- The protagonist enters the diner and finds that it is withered and decrepit. He is off-putted by it's emptiness. As he makes his way to the counter, he finds a single note lying on the counter.
- The protagonist unravels and reads the note, only to find the word "Help" written on it repeatedly in a red substance. This causes the protagonist to drop the note and run out of the building. Once outside he finds his tires slashed and another note with the word "Run" on it.
- With his car now being immobilized, the protagonist runs into the nearby woods, swerving through multiple trees and bushes. However he is blinded by the night's darkness, and trips and falls. While on the ground, he hears foot steps approaching before being left in silence.
