  • Welcome back to channel 6 news. Our top story tonight: Ebola, you're gonna die!
  • That's right Helen. Let's move straight into some live coverage of the Ebola situation
  • Here can see just how the Ebola apocalypse ravages the NationWhy Have We Failed?
  • We Now Go Live-To the Washington D.C. How Could President Obama Have Let it Get this Bad?
  • My fellow Americans. These are trying times. The Ebola virus is running wild in our streets. This is an especially difficult to contain virus as, according to the recent CNN article Deadliest Outbreak of Ebola Virus: What You Need to Know, the virus ...takes between two and 21 days before Ebola symptoms to show, there’s little health officials can do to stop an asymptomatic person from flying to another country (Cullinane and Thompson). This means we have little way to stop it from coming in and spreading over here.
  • We are trying our best to contain the virus and prevent it from killing a significant portion of the population
  • Mr. President, what about the fact that, also according to Deadliest Outbreak of Ebola Virus: What You Need to Know, the virus can kill up to 90% of the people who catch it (Cullinane and Thompson). This gives the impression that 90% of the population will die as a result of this virus!
  • Trying your best to contain it? According to, again, Deadliest Outbreak of Ebola Virus: What You Need to Know Cullinane and Thompson explain that there is no vaccination. This line in the article implies that we have no hope of stopping it's spread as we cannot vaccinate against it. How can you contain something like that?
  • Even worse is how it kills you. According to the Washington Post article titled Out of Control: How the World's Health Organizations Failed to Stop the Ebola Disaster, by Lena Sun, et al., the Ebola virus shuts down...parts of the immune system...causing the victim to suffer fever, headaches, vomiting, diarrhea and dehydration. That sounds like a horrible way to die and it instills much fear in me and the rest of the general public. I imagine that this fact, combined with the notion that we cannot protect against it is fueling this mass hysteria. In other words, we're all gonna die and the world is gonna end!
  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
