- I am in my final year of my BSW. When not working, I spend time travelling, hanging out with family and friends, connecting with nature, and hanging out with my puppy!
- In my last practicum, I spent time working with primarily men and dads. Because I have gained insight into fatherhood, I want to gain insight into motherhood as a future practitioner and as someone who would like to have kids. My next placement is with child and family services, so learning about motherhood will be extremely beneficial and crucial to this position. I strive to have an anti-oppressive lens and want to learn the issues women and mothers face so I can support and empower the women I work alongside.
- This is my final course of my degree! I want to learn how mothering looks for various kinds of mothers such as single mothers and mothers in various types of relationships. I also want to learn about the history of mothering and how it compares to present day. Most important, I want to learn the barriers mothers face and how these inequities can be addressed.
