- Rome is located in Italy, which includes a peninsula and islands in southern Europe. The Italian peninsula is shaped a lot like a boot and reaches into the Mediterranean Sea with its toe pointed toward the island of Sicily.
- Etruscan Sports
- Romulus and Remus where twins that were kidnapped and seat down a stream to die. A wolf found them and took care of them till a family took them to take care of them. The were very strong and founded Rome. Romulus killed Remus for the name and leadership.
- Greek Architecture
- The Etruscans created the arch. This make building somethings stronger, cheaper, and quicker to build.
- Greek Culture
- The Etruscans made Gladiator fights. They would be in something like a ring and fight to the death. They used this with slaves to see who could have the chance to win freedom.
- The Greeks created columns that hold up structures. There are three types called Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian that are still used today.
- The Greek and Romans created Greco-Roman art. This has some characteristics of both styles of art.
