- First we'll talk about networks, most networks connect to the internet through a router. however, Networks sometimes also involve physically connecting devices together via a copper wire so information can flow through them.

- A major network principle is Fault Tolerance, which means that the system will continue working even if one or more of its components fail, another network principle is redundancy, which is when additional communication mediums are installed within the network.

- One of the primary protocols of the internet is assigning every new device an Internet Protocol, or IP for short. Another primary protocol is turning the words that we can read as humans into the language that computers understand, it is called a DNS.

- The internet uses something called Dynamic Routing to make sure information gets to the IP Address it needs to go to by altering the path of the information if there is a problem in the system.

- Lastly is the world wide web. Browsers tell the computer which IP to display so that you see the web page you intended to go to.
