- The two warring tribes engaged in a deadly conflict, which caused mayhem to break out in the wedding hall. Pagtuga was slower than Ulap, who frequently avoided his spear.
- Pagtuga died quickly when Pagtuga was hit in the forehead by Ulap's spear. Only Magayon remained in the reception hall as terrified guests yelled and ran from the building. She courageously raced to embrace Ulap, her beloved.
- Daragang Magayon was so beautiful and kind that many young men wanted to mary her. But Daragang Magayon has a secret, she was in love with Hadiong
- However Hadiong is a warrior from a tribe that was an enemy to Daragang Magayon's family.
- So Daragang Magayon and Hadiong Had to meet hiding. Until one night Hadiong's brother caught their meeting.
- When Daragang Magayon heard the news of Hadiong's death it broke her heart. She cries everyday until she got sick. She soon died too. But after few months had passed, the ground where she was burried grew and grew. after a hundreds year it becomes a beautiful volcano now called "Mayon"
