- Then you have to speak to them Ally.
- Jenny is right. I need to speak to them about this. Nothing bad will come out of me expressing my true feelings about my own future.
- Ally has been having a hard time lately because her parents are pressuring her to study in the medical field. Although Ally is not sure what she wants to do, she knows that the medical field is not for her. Troubled, she calls her best fried Jenny for help.
- Hey Mom, Dad, can we talk?

- Jenny has sensed her best friend's struggle for a week now, so she is glad that Ally is finally opneing up to her. She understands how much Ally is struggling and tries her best to give her the best advice she can. Facing her parents head on is what Jenny decides to be the best option.
- I know you want the best for me, but I don't agree with what you have planned for my future!
- Determined, Ally decided to speak to her parents. If there's one person who's responisble for her future, it's got to be her. She will let her parents know that. Although Ally is nervous, she feels a bit of excitement because this is the first time she will stand up to her parents.
- We're sorry if we ever made you feel like you didn't have any options,
- We will let you go at your own pace! Please ask us anything if you ever need help,
- Worried now that she's in front of them, Ally gathers the courage to speak to them. Although she is determned to get her point across, there's no telling what her parents will think. The last thing she wants to do is disappoint them.
- Ally gets overwhelmed but she keeps on talking through her tears. Her parents watch her and do not stop her. They both felt like the have needlessly pressured their daughter, but all because they truly care for her. But the moment they hear her cry, they realize that maybe they should let her decide.
- I know that I haven't decided yet but I want to be certain that I will be the one choosing for myself. Not anybody else.
- Much to Ally's surprise, her parents were supportive of her words. She has realized then that her fear of disappointing her parents has also made her paint the wrong idea of them as well. Because of this, Ally is now determined the path that was truly meant for her. She will now walk towards her future with a clear goal. To find what inspires her.
