- The Speech
- Father Miguel Hidalgo giving a speech, called El Grito De Dolores, which had marked the start of the Mexican War.
- Spanish's social class is similar to the Haitian's. They both have a high level class and a low level class. For the Spanish's social class, the highest level is the Peninsulares, and the lowest level would be the Enslaved Africans. Since the Peninsulares are at the highest level in the social class they have the most powers, the enslaved africans are at the lowest so they have nothing.
- Creoles Got Inspired
- This is so inspiring! I'm joining the movement!!
- People from different levels of the social class are very unhappy with their status. The creoles want more power for them, the mestizos want everything the whites have but they don't(such as wealth and power), and the native africans want their lands of their ancestors.
- Hidalgo's Execution
- On September 16. 1810, Father Miguel Hidalgo delivered a speech, which have marked the start of the Mexican War.
- Mexico Independence
- Mexico
- After Hidalgo's speech, the creoles got inspired by Hidalgo's speech and they start to join the Mexican Independence movement.
- Before seeing Mexico to be an independent country, Hidalgo got executed by the Spanish.
- In 1821, an alliance of the creole upper class, rebel leaders, and the clergy came together led by the general Agustin de Iturbide to drive the Spanish out of Mexico and declared independence on September 27, 1821.
