- Usa, Great Britian, France, and Italy were involved with the Treaty of Versailles so that they can deside what would happen to Germany.The contries went to the Palace of Versailles to make the Germans pay for what they have done and to sign the Treaty of Versailles.

- the great depression was a financial crisis caused by the wall street crash in 1929 which led to widespread unemployment (which led to homelessness and starvation). around 6million people became unemployed, foreign loans were withdrawm and it allowed for extremist nazi party to gain attention as they were promising economic recovery.

- Youth organizations were established by the management of youngsters in order to manipulate German youth and force them to submit to Hitler and the Nazi government.It was an effective method of training future mothers and soldiers. It prepared the Soldured for battle by training them from an early age.

- Radio, television, movies, newspapers, paintings, and sculptures were all forms of propaganda. Josef Goebbels, one of Hitler's most dependable allies, oversaw it.

- the Nazis developed a system of repression and terror to deal with opponents and spy on the population. this was done by three main groups- SS informal army- SA or storm troopers (nazi private army)- Gestapo secret police.people were too scared to speak out against the Nazis in case they were found out.
- Hitler and the Nazis blamed nearly all of germanys sufferings on jews and communists and other minorities. the German people wanted to blame someone and they took to using the jews as Scapegoats. It meant that the German people thought that by ridding Germany of the problem of jews their country would be great again.
