Voltaire: I agree because if the people feel that they are being mistreated, they should rebel against their government. It's common sense.
Locke: I agree with this statement since the government must be representative of the people. The gov. failed to do so, leading to the party.
Rousseau: I agree also because the power of the government comes from the people, meaning the people have a right to stand up to their government.
Montesquieu: I do think this may have been extreme, but I still believe that citizens have a right to criticize their government.
