  • The women were very concerned about the rising price of bread, so they lead a march onto Versailles. This march forced the Royals to go back to Paris.

  • The Declaration of the Rights of Man was a declaration that said all men are born and created equally. It also established the rights of men, life liberty, and fraternity.

  • Louis XVI was executed on January 21, 1793, and he was convicted of conspiracy with foreign powers. And Marie Antoinette was executed on October 16, 1793, she was convicted of High Treason.
  • Napoleon crowned himself Emperor in 1804 after sizing political power in 1799. Napoleon was very good when it came to wars and being in the military.
  • In 1812 Napoleon thought that it would be a good idea to invade Russia in the middle of the winter, this was the begening of the end for Napoleon. He also had a horrible defeat at the battle of Waterloo. After Waterloo Napoleon was sent to a tiny island called Saint Helena.
