  • Even with the rising cases of covid-19 in Malaysia,Politeknik Sultan Idris shah are working to determine how students can preventthe transmition of the virus so that they are able to return to their physicalclasses safely.
  • Properlyfitted mask and face coverings can prevent students from transmitting theCovid-19 virus to others and may provide some protection to the wearer.
  • If you have COVID-19, you can spread it to others,even if you do not have symptoms. If you have symptoms, get tested and stayhome until you have your results.
  • If you have tested positive even without symptoms, avoid going outside until tested negative.
  • Washingyour hands often with soap and water for atleast 20 seconds and dry themcompletely. From student to lecturers, everyone should do the same, especiallyafter being near to someone who is sick.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use a handsanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol, this will ensure to eliminate 99.9% of germs on your hands when used properly.
  • Maintaining a safe distance of atleast 1 metre from others andavoiding crowded places or in group can help limit the spread of covid-19.
  • Get vaccinated. Getting sick with covid-19 can cause severeillness or death, even in children, and we cant reliably predict who will havemild or severe illness. Covid-19 vaccination helps protect you by creating anantibody response without you having to experience potentially severe illnessor post-covid conditions.
