I have an idea, I'll make a bullentin board listing 4 ways I can help parents advcate.
Encourage parents to dream about what they want for themselves and their child Help parents establish realistic expectations for their child's future and emphasize that every family member is entitled to full citizenship.
Recognize that parents may face psychological or psychiatric challenges in coping with their child's disability.Encourage parents to seek professional counseling or advice as needed
