  • Britain took great offense to the Colonies boycotting their goods as an act of rebellion. To counteract this, they pushed taxes on goods with the Townshend Revenue Act. They also made sure to keep a close eye on the Colonists with the Quartering Act, the Declaratory Act, and the Intolerable Acts

  • How dare these Colonists disrespect Great Britain! We will push these acts upon them to remind them who rules over them and make them pay for our war debt!
