- It's okay Kanav! You have 2 minutes. Tell me about yourself and what you aim for in this field?

- Sir, I would love to say that I was born to make films but that's not true. Like many other people, I slowly and gradually realized that filmmaking is something that makes me feel at home. I have been a fan of cinema since I can remember. But I chose a different field as my profession. After few months of working as a journalist, I realized that filmmaking is the only thing I want to do. Now people ask me what I want to do on a film set? When I entered my filmmaking course, I was as blank as my current cheque book. It was after a year of learning films, I realized that I want to direct films. It's something that comes naturally to me. 
- But if you ask me whether I can direct a film now, I'll say no. I have a lot of self-confidence but I am also self-aware of my capabilities and my skill set as of now. I want to work as an assistant director on film sets and learn the craft. I want to keep on learning till I can teach someone else through my work. Yes, learning never stops but there comes a time when you realize that you are now fit to lead. I am just looking for an entry point and an opportunity to show what I have learned so far and also learn new things in the process.
