- It was a typical day at the Plantae household in the tropics. The sun was out and the brief intermittent rainfall was expected. Mrs. Cherry Plantae and her son Mato Plantae were outdoors preparing a meal.
- Late Afternoon
- Plants make their own foodusing carbon dioxide, water, sunlight and chlorophyll. Carbon dioxide is present in the atmosphere and enters the plant through tiny pores called stomata. Water enters the plant from the soil via its roots. Chlorophyll is a green pigment found in the green parts of plants.

- The products of Photosynthesis are Oxygen and Glucose. Oxygen is used by the plant for respiration and excess leaves the plant through the stomata and becomes part of the atmosphere. Glucose is a simple sugar and has many uses in the plant, either directly or after it is converted to other useful forms.
