Statistically, you talk to many more people struggling with addiction than you may realize.
One in ten people will struggle with a substance at least once during their lifetime.
If you or a loved one are involved with substance abuse, you can reach out to the person struggling, a mentor, or a helpline. Local help groups are also here to help addicts, and educating the general population on the truth about addiction is a great step in the right direction.
By starting those difficult conversations, we can empathize with each other and create a better and more sober world. An end to addiction begins with you.
