Very happy on this day!
Bryant was in the field that day and saw the Indians so he tried running to the fort but instead killed like the rest of his family except for the wife, she was taken as prisoner like Cloutman and Reed to Canada.
Mrs. Bryant on the other hand was released Sept. 30th, 1746. On Oct. 20th, 1746, Edward Cloutman and Robert Dunbar who was also captured by Indians escaped. But both were drowned while crossing Lake Champlain. And Reed died as prisoner the same day.
On Nov. 20th 1746 Mrs. Bryant got married because of how her family died. She was married to Leonard Lidle, who was also a prisoner to the Indians. And very sadly she passed away on May. 8th 1747.
