- OIl is formed by different ways. One way is when plants and algae die in the sea, it gets buried by sediment and over millions of years the pressure and heat turns it into oil.

- Oil is pumped by a device called a pumpjack. A pumpjack is used to pump oil out of a well.
- Oil is used in many ways for example to moves vehicles, heat buildings and powers electricity.

- Oil is not a renewable resource, so when earth runs out of oil reserves, it's out.
- Some places have a smaller population but tons of oil, and others the opposite.
- Not all places have even close to the same amount of oil reserves.
- Some governments keep the money they make from oil from their people.
- There are many alternative energy sources, and more being discovered that help preserve our oil supply, and hopefully research will lead to even more!
- By recycling we can continue to create usable resources from things being disposed of. In regards to oil, maybe we could find a way to minimize oil waste and avoid oil being needed for use, or at least less often.
- Perhaps as we discover more about space travel and other planets we will be able to use other resources from space to help conserve our oil.
