YOU KNOW NOTHING OF WHAT YOU SPEAK OF! You have no idea the danger us women are in. Not only with men, but with other women. So I advise you stop your words before you make a bigger fool of yourself!
Then enlighten me on how I know so much about you. Hmm? Do you have an answer for that?
You my dear...
...Know nothing.
From that day on, I understood what that figure meant. It was the self-doubt, the self-hatred, and the oppression that women would have to endure. After I composed myself however, I met back up with the women's march, they had handcuffed themselves to the White House. "How strange," I thought at first, but soon after I joined them. I knew why Alice would go to such extreme measures, because extremities are the only way that people listen.
I joined Alice Paul and the marchers, making sure they left unharmed. After it, I felt a certain sense of Destiny, that it was my duty to help these other women through these rough times, in time, the rights for women's votes was passed as the 19th Amendment. It was a great victory for all American women, but the fight still persisted. Although the 19th Amendment was a big leap in progress, women would still have to fight for their right to own property, divorce their husbands, and have the right of custody over their children. I did not live to see the rest of the progress that women made, but I know in my heart that all the battles were victorious ones.
