Romulus and Remus were twin boys born to a princess named Rhea Silvia. Their father was the fierce Roman god of war, Mars.
The twins mum discoveredthat there were plots by other deities to harm her father and hersons. Rhea put the twins in a basket on the Tiber, hoping someonewould find and care for them. Who were then found by a she-wolf.
ROMULUS AND REMUS
The wolf cared for them and protected them from other wild animals and fed themwith her own milk until a shepherd named Faustulus found them and started to raised them.
Eventually they started to become shepeards like Faustulus and started to realise that were alot more important then what they thought.
One day, the boys discovered who they really were and they decidedto build a city on the banks of the Tiber. But as time went on they started bicuring about power and having to share it
They both wanted to be sole king of their city. They argued and, ina rage, Romulus picked up a rock and killed his brother. From this time on, Romulus ruled as king, naming the city Romeafter himself.
