George and Lennie show the best Friendship in this book because they are both there for each other and are helping each other through out the whole book. Lennie needs George's help to make it and George stays there for Lennie when he needs him. No matter what they both would do anything for each other. (this is the scene of them running from what Lennie assaulted that girl in weed)
