This is the Indus river this was very important to this civilization
As you walk more into town you can see what we live in. This is my friend Jacob who helps to build these homes!
We build our homes out of mud bricks. The people of our city like to stay on top of their roof because it is very hot outside and it keeps them cool
Bathroom
We use drains to use the restroom in and drain the water from our showers. For showers we stand on bricks and dump water on ourselves.
Shower room
The great bath is where we purify ourselves from sin. Most people get bathed by the bath at least once in there lifetime here in Indus Valley.
Great bath
Most people didn't write because there way of writing was very difficult. They used seals as things like stamps. When they did write they carved what they wrote into seals.
When we didn't have money we exchanged goods. Things we traded are terracotta pots, gold, silver, metals, beads, flints for making tools, seashells, pearls, and colored gemstones, such as lapis lazuli and turquoise.
