- Apollo has become mortal and is on a quest to free the Oracles from the three Roman Emperors, whom have become immortal as a punishment from Zeus for causing the war with the Giants. He has freed two Oracles one at Camp Half-Blood and the other in Indianapolis. Now he is in the Labyrinth traveling to California.

- In Aeithales, their refuge and Meg's former home, Apollo and Grover are asked to find a satyr named Gleason Hedge by Melly Hedge's wife. They start at his last known location, a military store.

- After Apollo and Grover escape the Military store with coach Hedge they head back to Aeithales where Apollo questions Meg about her life when she used to live in Aeithales.
- Meg shows Apollo a flashback of her life in Aeithales with her dad.

- Apollo, Meg, and Grover Drive to Piper McLean's home to get her to tell them where the entrance to the Maze is. (If you want to know who Piper is, read the book.)
- According to those boxes she not going to live here for much longer.
- Meg, Appllo, and Grover get to Meg's house while she is moving out to ask her lead the the entrance of the maze.
