- welcome to medieval europe. a time and place where things like gunpowder was used, as well as the invention of vertical windmills, water mills, building techniques (Gothic architecture, medieval castles), and three-field crop rotation were invented.
- another factor of the medieval world was the amount of influence religion had over matters of everyday life. an example of this would be the canon laws that the church made. another example would be the political position that the church had. some might even say it was greater than those from royal families
- here comes the bad parts of medieval Europe. its time to discuss the environment. so the issue during the medieval time period is that the people weren't the cleanest . and because of that issue they tended to leave their trash on the ground all around and caused very unsanitary conditions and contributed to the spread of the black plague.
- the 2 main factors that cause conflict during medieval Europe was the plague and the crusades on jerusalem. because of the plague spreading quickly among families and friends, some went on to seek help in other places and ended up spreading the plague among each other. and the crusades caused a lot of death and fighting among other kingdoms for the control of jerusalem
- trading courses and the use of agriculture helped to provide wealth and generate resources. it was also shown in the manor economy
- Feudalism was the leading way of political and economic life in the Medieval era. it was a way of keeping the king and queen in power and kept things in order and gave people in power opportunity's by exchanging military services for land and for the serfs to handle producing food and taking care of the land and lord in exchange for protection
