- We did stickhandling and shooting drills, those were my strengths and I was doing pretty well.
- Today was tryouts and I was determined to work hard and make the team I wanted.

- Soon the tryout came to an end and I left the rink feeling nervous. Hoping I could make the team.
- I read the list of numbers and found that I had not made the team I wanted. I was very upset and disappointed. To make things worse, most of my previous teammates made the team.
- The next day at school I was eating lunch on the field with my friends and I hear they released the results of the tryouts
- However, now I was very determined to work hard this season and improve. So I could prove to the coaches, next year, that I should make the top team.
- After school I was very sad and it made me realize that I didn't put all I had into the tryout. Otherwise, I would have made it.
