On April 14, 1865 Abraham Lincoln and his wife were invited as guest of honor to Fox Theatre to view a play called "Our American Cousin". They were accompanied by two other guests and seated in a private balcony
Peterson's Boarding House
Booth goes into the theatre and gets behind President Lincoln. He aims his gun at the back of Lincolns head and pulls the trigger. Lincoln falls and people are gasping.
Manhunt/Investigation
After Booth shoots Lincoln, he gets into a fight with one of Lincolns escorts. He hits the escort on the back of the head with his gun and he jumps off the theatre box and onto the stage. He runs behind the stage and escapes.
John Wilkes Booth captured/killed
Lincoln is transported to the Peterson's Boarding House. He is carried to the back bedrooms. The president was dying and people came to visit him. Abraham Lincoln died on April 15, 1865.
Stanton begun the investigation and blocked the roads. He offered rewards to whoever could capture the killer. They know that John is injured and on the move.
Booth was injured and stopped to rest at a barn. Stanton's men caught up to Booth and surrounded the barn. They tried to light the barn on fire to try to get Booth out of the barn. Booth peaked through a hole and pointed his gun which made one of the men shoot booth. Booth died on April 26, 1865.
