It says here that ionic bond is when a metal element moves electron to a non-metal element. And alot of products thats used in daily life are formed by ionic bond for example bleach.
Bleach is formed using Sodium (NA), Chlorine (CI) and Oxygen (O). Sodium forms an ionic bond with chlorine and sodium then turns into sodium ions (NA+) and then chlorine then turns into chlorine ions (CI-) then they turn in to Sodium hypochlorite a.k.a Bleach!
