In the same place that christianity was developed, 3 of the other major world religions were developed...
Yes and no. Christianity is a very common religion bjut it isnt the only one.
Three of the world major religions, Judaism, Islam and Christianity, were all developed in the middle east and are very similair.Christianity was born out of Judaism as the Christian prophet Jesus, was a Jew. And all three of these religions are monotheistic .They all have designated places of worship as well. For jews, it is called a Synagauge, for Muslims it is called a Mosque, and for Christians it is called church.
Oh there are even more! Lets talk about Asian religions
So those are the three religions?
Several other religions exist that originated in south East Asia such as Hinduism, Bhuddism, and Shintoism.Hinduism and Bhuddism originated in India while Shintoism in native to Japan.Similairly to christianity and Judaism, Bhuddism was born out of Hinduism as Bhudda, the prophet of Bhuddism, was Hindu. Hinduism is actually a polytheistic religion, meaning worshipping more than one god/ Deity. Shintoism is very dedicated to the worship of life forces rather than supreme beings Even though these are technically religions, they are often regarded as "Ways of life" rather than religion. The overall theme of these practices, tends to be finding the power within yourself and within nature.
Although these aaren't all of the religions, these are the most common
They're very interesting!
