Hey guys I heard you guys talking about the ratification debate but what about what’s happening to the African Americans have you heard that 1 African american would be counted as ⅗.
Wait does that mean The South can get more seats
So if there was 500 African Americans they would be counted as 300 people which is a lot
yeah!
Is there anything additional to say about the anti-federalism and pro-federalism debate?
Yes, I do; however, how can we assure that after the constitution is passed, the president will not become a dictator and rewrite laws to grant himself greater power?
We can solve that issue because in the Declaration of Independence for Natural Rights it states that the government is supposed to protect basic rights from people, If the government violates those rights that the people can abolish the government and create another. Which means if the government abuses their power we can just abolish it and create another one
Also John to add to the argument what other ways the central government can implement to help protect natural rights if you want the state to ratify the constitution
Well in that case then we can also have the Judicial Branch impeach the president if he violates the rights and have Congress review the veto.
Yeah I like that Idea!
since we all what the states to ratify the constitution lets hope that the constitution is ratified
Yeah!
