- There is a family with a smart house. George and Lydia are they parents and they have two children, Peter and Wendy. Peter and Wendy have a nursery. The nursery has a veldt but something is wrong. The veldt seems so real. The parents can smell the dead animals, feel the heat from the sun, and hear the running of the predators in the African field.
- Falling Action
- George and Lydia are worried about their children in the nursery. George and Lydia want to shut down the nursery and the house for a few days because they are spooked. They tell the children how they feel about the nursery but they begin to lie and ask the parents not turn the nursery off. The children begin to become disobedient especially Peter.
- Resolution
- The parents go to their rooms to change. The kids have their last moment with the room. The parents suddenly hear the kids screaming for help. They think something happened to their kids. George and Lydia run to the nursery.
- Theme
- While George and Lydia are in the nursery Peter and Wendy aren't in the nursery. The door shuts and the parents are confused. They begin to knock on the door but the children won't open the door. The parents see the hungry looking lions walking towards them.
- The children have a picnic while their parents are locked in the African veldt. George and Lydia are getting eaten by the lions in the veldt.
