  • When Odysseus, King Alcinoos, and hundreds of people go outside, they go into a festival where the people do sports, games, and dancing. Odysseus is challenged by 2 young men who underestimate him.
  • After Odysseus shows what he could do, Euryalus apologizes and gifts him a sword made out of gold and silver.
  • Odysseus, King Alcinoos, and others gather up for a feast. Odysseus tells Demodocus to sing a song which later makes Odysseus cry. King Alcinoos stops Demodocus and asks Odysseus who he really is.
