  • Chapter 6: Runoff
  • Runoff occurs when the water falls down.
  • Chapter 7: Infiltration
  • The final cycle is infiltration.
  • Ending
  • And those are all the water cycle and the behaviors of it. Bye!
  • Water rushes off the surface of the ground in a process known as runoff. When snow melts and turns into water, it causes runoff. When water flows over the ground, it displaces the top soil and transports the minerals with it.
  • Some of the precipitation does not drain into rivers, but instead is absorbed by plants or evaporates. It penetrates the soil deeply. This is referred to as infiltration. The water seeps into the earth, raising the level of the groundwater table. It's called pure water, and it's safe to drink.
  • That is all there is to it. That's everything there is to know about the water cycle and its behavior. Evaporation, condensation, sublimation, precipitation, transpiration, runoff, and infiltration are some of the processes that occur. Today, I hope you learnt something new. Bye.
