- First we talk about shapes! Shapes are a set of lines forming a figure. For example these buildings are rectangles, the stopsign is a hexagon and the lights on the stoplight are circles.
- My name is Bob by the way! I'll be your tour guide on your color tour today!
- Next, we'll talk about colors. Colors are how our eyes receive light bouncing off of things. For example, here the doors are brown and the walls are lavender!
- Next we will talk about hue! Hue is how our eyes precieve colors! For example, the bean bags and TV are both yellow, just different hues!
- Shapes
- Next tint and shade. These two squares are the same hue, but different shades. This refers to the brightness and intensity of the color!
- Colors
- Next, is primary colors! They are colors that cannot be created by other colors. The primary colors are red, yellow, and blue, which are in the boxes on my shelf!
- Hue
- Lastly! Cool colors. They are colors with cool undertones and have a cold effect! Like the lavender walls here! Thanks for coming on this color journey with me! See you next time!
