- My name is Caiden and this is my garden, where I grow many vegetables like tomatoes and collard greens. I keep my garden in my backyard but my gardening season for some of my crops is almost over. I still want to grow my crops so I have to figure out a solution that will help me do just that.I think a greenhouse will help me with this. The reasons why a greenhouse will help me is because it shield crops from too much cold or heat and unwanted pests.
- In my garden I grow tomatoes in the late spring but once the weather changes my tomatoes won't last because it will be too hot. Also in my garden I grow collard greens in late summer but once the weather changes my collard greens won't last because it will be too cold.If my tomatoes get too much sun the soil will dry up and the tomatoes will wrinkle and turn dark red and if my collard greens are attacked by pests, their leaves will turn yellow and brown.
- I can move my crops into my greenhouse so that they will be protected from the cold and the heat. To get started I will need to make sure that I have enough space and I can place it in an area where my crops can get a lot of light. I also want to make sure that I keep things out that may eat my crops out, so I will need to use glass for protection. This will all help me be able to grow my crops all year and even be able to give them to others people who need them.
