- LILLY! dont lie to me. i know you still think about him. do you still talk to him huh?
- ryle i swear i don't, i haven't talked to him since we broke up
- *after going out for a nice/fancy dinner*Lilly is in the bathroom and she hears Ryle call her to the bedroom.
- lily i can treat you better than he ever can.
- ryle stop, you're not in the right mindset.
- Ryle is in the room when he finds one of the gifts lily's first lover bought her a few years back. he wonders why she still has it and if it means anything she tells him its nothing and that she just never thought to throw it away but he doesn't believe her.
- oh come on lily, im your boyfriend im allowed to touch you like this.
- ryle stop, i don't like it when you touch me like that.
- Ryle starts yelling at lily and passively accuses her of cheating on him. she assures him she hasn't thought or talked to her ex since they broke up. Ryle is jealous and thinks that she hasn't thrown the gift because she still has feelings for her ex.
- Ryle tells lily that he can treat her better than he can and is very jealous so he tries to show that he is better as if it is a competition even though there is no one to compete with. he starts toughing lily and she feels uncomfortable. this is abuse because it's unwanted attention.
- Lily has continually told Ryle to stop touching her because it's making her uncomfortable. ryle tells her that he's allowed to touch her because he's her boyfriend. ryle is forcing lily into something she isn't comfortable with Ryle didn't to get lilys consent to do any of this but he is still doing it. this is an indication of a toxic relationship. unwanted and non-consensual touching.
- lily leaves Ryle and gets out of the house with the intention of going to someone safe. she is now aware that this relationship is toxic and she needs to get out of it as soon as possible.
