- Matild is a women who lives in a stedy life with a stedy income but thats not enough for her she wants to be rich and have tones of jewlery and fancy things.

- Her husband came home and brought an invation to a party but matild started to cry because she had nothing fancy to wear. So her husband gave her 400 Franks and also told her to borrow a neckalce from her friend.

- They went to the party wearing a necklace that ms forest gave her to borrow. She had everyones attention and was very well dressed.
- Thanks to ms forest i have this beautiful necklace to go with my dresss
- When they got back home from the party matild realized somthing was missing. IT WAS THE NECKLACE. That ms forest gave her they lost her necklace.
- The necklace is gone!!!!!!

- AFter losing the necklace they paaid for a new one and spent 10 years in poverty and working constantly to pay off the dept.

- Matild was walking down town and she saw ms forest walking down the other end of the street. She calls out to her but ms forest doesnt reconise her until matild told her name to her. Matild blames ms forest for all the years of paying off the necklace but ms forest tells her it was a fake and was not even worth anything. Matild walks off shocked .
