- “Gebre Meskal doesn’t. Nor does my aunt. Nobody else matters.”
- “No one thinks you’re stupid.”
- “ I wanna travel the world, go in adventures, I wanna be my own self, I wanna do what I want, even if other people don't want me to”
- “I dont really know” “ I will just go where destiny will decide to take me”
- “Where are you going?”
- Sofya sits on the floor next to Telemakos and starts reflecting, what should she do now? Then Sofya talks to telemakos about how she feels, and telemakos helps her, sofya just can't imagine her life without Esato, she is alone now and she doesn't know what to do next, where to go, will she end up like esato, dressed like a bride, or will she decide her future.
- "I'm gonna miss this place, can't wait to see where destiny will take me"
- That same day Sofya stayed in her bed looking at the ceiling all night thinking about what she should do, she wanted to be like Esato to make her family proud but she doesn't want to be a bride yet, she isnt in love with anyone, she is confused. The next morning she woke up, still a little confused but with an idea in her head, she looked at herself in the mirror and said “ I wanna travel the world, go in adventures, I wanna be my own self, I wanna do what I want, even if other people don't want me to”
- "Finally the mail got here, Telemakos and Esato wrote me, thats amazing"
- The next morning Sofya woke up happy , she started packing her things with no idea where to go. She finished packing and went for her breakfast where she bumped into Telemakos who was also leaving. “Where are you going?” Telemakos asked. “I dont really know” said Sofya “ I will just go where destiny will decide to take me” and then she left off leaving Telemakos confused.

- Sofya was leaving her home for good, so that she could live her own life, with no one to pressure her into getting married. At that precise moment where Sofya was leaving the doors, she never felt better and knew she had made the right decision.
- In The past years Sofya lived her life happily travelling around the world, she sometimes received cards from telemakos where he told her that his father was finally speaking to him and that he was happy with his aunt, dad and mom living together. Sofya actually never talked to anyone from her family because she knew they would come looking for her, but she did talk to Esato who told her that she had one kid and had a happy life. Sofya couldn't be happier.
- The last few years of Sofyas travelling she decided to set her life. Sofya went back to aksum and started working as a shoe maker, she was finally happy that she did what she wanted to do. At the end the plague had already gone, and things were better, she still talks to Telemakos and Esato and their lives were amazing they were so happy, just like Sofya was now, she didn't fell in love with noone but she did make some friends along her travelling where she decided to live with her friend Josephine. She lived happily ever after with her best friend.
