- This is a great party, I love everything about it, thank you for welcoming us into your lovely home.
- We're glad you came, right, honey?
- Scene 6
- I don't wanna do it, but I wanna be king, I love my wife, but I don't wanna disappoint her.
- Scene 7
- If I wanna kill him, I must do it quick, but I have nothing against the king, and people would be devastated when the king dies. and I might get caught. UGH, this is so hard, I'm backing out.
- King Duncan, alongside Malcolm, Donalbain, Banquo, Ross, Lennox, Angus and Macduff arrived at the Macbeth's castle and Duncan praised both of them, because of the positive atmosphere and the uplifting occasion. This is a type of irony, considering that the smile and laughter on everyone's faces won't cover up the fact that the Macbeth's are planning something devious.
- Scene 7
- In the dinner scene, we see Macbeth started thinking back and forth on whether he should do it or not, because he doesn't wanna lose his opportunity of becoming a king, but he also don't wanna take someone else's life to reach his goal. We see a slow change of Macbeth's character which led him to the dark path.
- Due to the Macbeth's constant thinking, confusion, and worrying, he goes to the balcony to calm himself.
- Lady M enters the scene, Macbeth then tells her that he won't be doing the deed anymore, but she backfires, she questioned his masculinity, calling him weak and a coward. She was furious when she heard this revelation from him, but she keeps convincing Macbeth that if they just made a plan, the commit would be successful.
- If you won't do it, then you're not a real man, and I'd be willing to do the deed if Duncan don't resemblance my father.
- I can't, I couldn't do it, I wanna be a king but I don't wanna kill someone, that's too selfish
- Do you wanna be in Malcolm's position or you wanna replace Duncan, instead?...
- Just think of what would this do to you if you just do it, YOU WILL BE THE NEXT KING.
- Duncan chose Malcolm to be the Prince of Cumberland, you now are in a competition with him on becoming a king...
