hi everyone!!! today i will be teaching you the cell cycle, and it's different steps and phases
no food or drinks allowed in the lab
BIOLOGYwith mrs.Chaymaa
interphase g1, where it all begins
Mrs.Chaymaa will be explaining the cell cycle during today's lesson
interphase: s phase
Lena, muneera, and noura are excited to learn
interphase: g2
During the G1 phase the cells grow physically larger copies of organelles and make the molecular cell building blocks it will need in later steps.
mitosis, prophase
S phase the cell synthesis a complete copy of the Dna in its nucleus. It also duplicates a microtubule organizing structure called the centrosome to help separate Dna during M-phase.
G2 phase the second gap phase the cells grow more proteins and organelles and begin recognizing its contents in preparation for mitosis.
mitosis begins with prophase, where the genetic material is separated and chromatin condenses.
