Take this cooking for example. The flame provides heat to the pan. which then provided heat to the food that is cooking
Conduction is a process when heat is transferred from the hotter part of the body to the colder part without any movement of the molecules. The particles collide with each other, transferring heat.
This hot-air balloon is an example of gas circulating to different parts of the balloon. When the air is heated, the molecules move around and spread out and the air becomes less dense. The colder air falls under the warm air, and the warm air pushes the balloon up, causing it to take flight. This moving warm air creates a convection current.
Another heat mode is convection. In this heat is transferred in the liquid and gases from a region of higher temperature to a region of lower temperature. It occurs due to the movement of a liquid or gas which circulate between areas of different densities
The last mode is radiation. This process essentially transfers heat from one body to another without using molecules. Heat is given without needing physical contact. An example of this is the sun giving off heat to Earth. The sun never touches Earth ever, but the Earth still absorbs the mass amount of heat it has to keep the planet warm.
