- Menelaus got back to find Helen gone, he calls upon all Greece to help him. This is what pushed things forward and created tension between the Greeks and the Trojans.

- Zeus sent a flying dream to Agamemnon promising him victory if he attacked. Zeus knew that the Greeks without Achilles were inferior to the Trojans. The dream made everything escalate quickly by creating violence.
- Paris shot Achilles in the heel, his only vulnerable spot. The Greek army lost their most successful soldier meaning the Greeks had a smaller chance of winning the war.
- Odysseus came up with the brilliant plan of gifting the Trojans a huge wooden horse which was very hollow and so big that it could hold a number of men. The wooden horse was created to sneak men inside and attack the city.
- Once it was night, the men exited the wooden horse and began to set the city on fire killing a lot of Trojans. This meant victory for the Greeks.
