- Ignatius grew up being the youngest of thirteen siblings he grew up in quite a wealthy family. Ignatius could be called a lady's man or scoundrel. He was in a lot of fights and killed a small amount of people. In the year 1517 Ignatius was knighted a knight by the king of Spain and began fighting for his country.

- In the year 1521 at the battle of Pamplona, Ignatius was fighting for his country (Spain) when he was hit in the leg by a cannonball fired from the French army, he was very baldy wounded Ignatius got carried off the field and straight to the recovery centre.

- While Ignatius was recovering in Hospital the only books he could read that were available were the Bible's. Throughout his life he became to be a better person. Ignatius became a priest in the year 1537. In the last couple of years of Ignatius's life he spent his time in Rome. He had originally asked Pope Paul the third in 1534 about a Jesuit Order. It took six years for Pope Paul the third to finally agree to the plan of finding the Jesuit Order.
