Hello, I'm Abraham Lincoln! I issued the emancipation proclamation on January 1st of 1863
Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president, he was elected the first time Nov. 6 of 1880 and was re-elected Nov. 8 of 1864. He was then the man who ended slavery.
Lincoln was then assassinated on April 18 of 1865, when he was then shot on the back of his head at a theater play
Back in the 1600's, slavery was a MAJOR problem. Slavery was when white people would enslave the african-americans
General David Hunter, decided that slavery was wrong and was one of the first white americans to arm african-american men
General David Hunter demanded justice for all slaves in May of 1862, that got me thinking...
I demand justice for all slaves!!
In June of 1862, the congress outlawed slavery in federal territories so dozens of freed slaves joined the army and fought
WE'RE FREE!! LETSSSS GOOOOOOO!!!
Finally, on January 1st of 1863, I signed the emancipation proclamation, demanding slaves to be free and have justice! I'm such a great person, like duh!!
Not everyone agreed to the emancipation proclamation, the northern states was against it and believed african-americans should be enslaved. On January 16th, some people started to do marches and discriminate against the emancipation proclamation.
WE DON"T LIKE THE EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION!!! CHANGE IT!!
