- Odysseus and his men land on a cyclops island, they decide to go look for food. Odysseus choses his best men to come with him and the rest stay on the boat
- Odysseus and his men explore a cave, inside they find a lot of food. They start to eat and collect the food. Odysseus wants to stay and wait for the cave owner to come back
- Polyphemus ask Oydessus his name, he says his name is "Nobody"
- The cyclops, Polyphemus returns to his cave. Odyessus is expecting a gift from him. That makes Polyphemus angry
- Polyphemus put a builder at the entrance of the cave so they can not leave
- Polyphemus eats 2 of Odysseus men. Odysseus needs to make a plan. He does not kill the cyclops because they won't be able to leave with cave without the cyclops moving the rock
- Odysseus offers Polyphemus wine. Polyphemus drinks a lot of the wine, eventually Polyphemus passes out drunk
- While Polyphemus is sleeping Odysseus stabs him in the eye. Polyphemus begins to yell. The other cyclops ask who's harming him. Polyphemus says "No one is harming me"
- Odysseus prays that he will have enough strength to move the builder, and it works. Him and his men are able to escape
