  • One day, Harry woke up and walked outside to receive the mail as usual. His mind was set on other things, one of them definitely not being the ongoing war. However, his whole life turned upside down in one second once he opened that mailbox and saw a white paper addressed to him...
  • GET UP!! WE HAVE WORK TO DO!
  • OH NO! I HAVE TO GO SERVE IN THE WAR!
  • After receiving the letter and examining its contents, Harry decided it would be best to show his parents. However, he was nervous and practically shaking. He wanted to cry and lay down, not go serve in some war he didn't care about until now.
  • I wonder how my parents are gonna feel? Will they cry or be happy? I hope they're sad, I really don't wanna go...
  • NOOOOOO!
  • Once Harry gave his parents the letter, they were happy for him because they believed it would benefit their country. Harry, however, was upset because he did not feel the same. Even Harry's little brother came down from playing dress up and was upset he was going.
  • No! Big brother...
  • Yay! We are so happy you get to serve our country , Harry! You will bring honor to us all!
  • Harry did not like the war. He didn't like fighting, waking up early, and constantly being dirty or scared. He broke down in the middle of a rice patty field, crying and crying while his crew waited for him angrily.
  • I hate it here..
  • After Harry came home, he was shocked to find his parents against the war effort. They had been following the war's progress this whole time and found out it had been all for nothing. Even his little brother was against him! They quickly kicked him out with his stuff.
  • NOOOO!
  • Get out! Fighting in that war was wrong!
  • And so, Harry was left with nobody. He had to resort to sleeping on the bench with a single, thin blanket. His life had gone from bad to horrible. He was left homeless.
