- I can imagine that people will give me, and my colleagues, credit for principles in America such as freedom of speech and press, which I especially supported having ran my own printing business. I think that the greatest of things my influence shall reside in future times shall be the improvement of life through my backing of religious tolerance, enlightenment thinking that led me to logic and reason as opposed to feelings, improvement for prisoner's care, and my helpfulness in my community
